Max Warner-Tate Award Winning Outer Hebrides Photography

Drone, Underwater & Still Photographer — Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides

Max Warner‑Tate is a photographer based on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, specialising in drone, underwater and still photography. Her work is shaped by the Atlantic environment, capturing the coastline, sea conditions and shifting light of Harris and Lewis from perspectives that reveal scale, movement and the character of the islands.

Max’s photography has been recognised nationally, including a Highly Commended in Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year, reflecting her ability to work confidently in challenging conditions both above and below the waterline.

Whether flying in fast‑changing weather, working at sea level or shooting from the water, Max focuses on creating images that carry the mood, energy and atmosphere of the Hebridean landscape. Her connection to Lewis and Harris is central to her approach, informed by years of exploring the coastline, beaches and inlets of the islands she calls home.
